SJPhone Configuration
-Download the SJPhone for windows:
SJphone for Windows XP/2000/ME/98, v.1.60.289a, 06.19.05
- Download the SJPhone for Linux:

- Download the SJPhone for MAC OS X:

- Downlaod the SJPhone for PPC 2003SE:

-Click Options
-Click Profiles
-Click New
-Create "Profile name" (can be any name for example: ("SwissIPcom")
-File name will be created by its own
-Under "Profile" select "Calls through SIP Proxy"
-Click OK
-Click SIP Proxy tab
-Under Proxy domain & User domain enter "sip.myvoipaccount.net"
-Next to it is port number, enter 5060
-Click OK
-Enable Use seperate registrar
-Under Register domain: "sip.myvoipaccount.net:5060"

Back in the 'Profiles' Tab you will see your created profile. Highlight it and then click on 'Initialize”. A service box will appear with your profile name. Enter in 'Account:' your DID or SIP number and in 'Password:' your voip password as provided to you by swissipcom, than click OK
In the 'Profiles' Tab again highlight your created profile ie SwissIPcom than click on 'Use...'
Click on the 'Call Options' tab. Under 'Incoming Calls' put a check mark on 'Automatically accept incoming calls', ONLY if you wish that sjphone answers the call on your behalf or uncheck mark if you wish to answer your incoming calls manually yourself (recommended). In 'Outgoing calls' put a checkmark on 'Use following host address' and make sure you choose the IP address of your computer

Click on 'Audio' Tab and make sure that in 'Sound devices' the Playback: is using your sound card audio, as well checkmark all the 4 sound adjustments (Not as seen in the below screenshot), Click OK
• Key activation
Please click on http://labs.softjoys.com/reg/ to register you license and after registration you will be provided with an activation key. Please take note of it.
Please go to options>>>support>>>register and enter your activation key then click OK
• Codec configuration
If you have enough bandwidth meaning 100Kbps both ways (upload & download), please go to:
Options>>audio>>compression settings>>click on G711u-law codec then click on UP to move it up, do the same for G711a-law codec until both are on the top of the list.
If your upload bandwidth is lower than 100Kbps than it is recommended to use GSM 6.0 codec by moving it up, the same procedure as the G711a/u-law codec to be on the top of the list.
Click OK twice
• Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express,
Click on dial (the green telephone sign) the contacts page will open, choose outlook contacts than you will see the lists of your contacts from your outlook, double click on your choice and the call will go through using sjlabs softphone.
• Port forwarding
In case of non registration or one way audio, please make sure you open the following ports to the IP address of your PC:
• 5060 UDP - SIP UAS
• 5060 TCP - SIP UAS
• 49152-65535 UDP – RTP/ RTCP multimedia streaming
NB: Please do disable you windows firewall
